St Peters Child Care Centre & Preschool prioritises a relaxed, friendly atmosphere while delivering top-tier child care and educational programs. Our qualified team collaborates with families to establish effective policies and procedures, ensuring a supportive environment for all.

Operating under the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Council, we maintain financial independence, utilising surplus funds for facility upkeep. Our tailored approach focuses on both shared and individual goals, fostering a sense of identity, belonging, and growth for each child and family.

Emphasising play as a cornerstone of learning and growth, our centre encourages exploration across physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and creative domains. We cherish the partnership between educators, families, and the community, fostering a supportive, nurturing, and secure environment.

We promote diversity and cultural celebration, embedding these values into our everyday practices. Continuous improvement and professional development are paramount, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality care through goal setting, evaluation, and policy refinement.

The Centre has on ongoing commitment to providing a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet for your child and to provides an eating environment that is safe, positive and supports healthy eating for all children.

Meals are freshly prepared using quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, offering a variety of hot and cold options, including vegetarian dishes. All of our educators are trained in safe food handling procedures.

While at the Centre, your child will receive morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The Centre can accommodate specific dietary requirements for children, which will be discussed at the time of enrolment /orientation of your child.

Become a part of our warm and welcoming community, where families come together to support one another and celebrate the joys of childhood.

To assist in a smooth transition to the Centre, we encourage and support orientation and transition programs, which consist of one hour visits, at no cost, where the parent/carer will be guided through the Centre and can share information with Educators.

These visits enable secure attachments to develop between your child and our Educators, as well as relationships between you and Educators, aimed at facilitating the sharing of information, resources and support your child's development
